iQOO 12 to launch with Android 14 in India 2023:The flagship smartphones from the iQOO 12 series made their debut in China recently. With a December 12 launch date set, the vanilla iQOO 12 is on its way to India. The company has released some intriguing information regarding the iQOO 12’s Indian version ahead of its official launch.
iQOO 12 will come in India with Funtouch OS 14, which is based on Android 14, according to a recent post on X (Twitter). Apart from the Pixel 8 series, no other smartphones have been released with Android 14 in India up until this point. The teaser also states that India will receive both the Legend Edition (White) and Alpha Edition (Black) colors.

The 6.78-inch Flat AMOLED display of the iQOO 12 has an astounding refresh rate of 144 Hz and a resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels. The iQOO 12 boasts a triple back camera arrangement with a 50MP primary camera, a 64MP periscope telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultrawide camera for photography. A 16MP front camera is used to take selfies.

Its internal components include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU, the Adreno 750 GPU, and iQOO’s exclusive e-sports chip Q1. The device provides three different storage configurations: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, 16GB RAM with 512GB storage, and 16GB RAM with 1TB storage. It runs on the OriginOS 4 proprietary user interface, which is based on Android 14. The device is powered by a sturdy 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W of rapid charging, allowing for the effective and quick replacement of the device’s power reserves.
